Independence and conflicts
Who publishes Compute Terminal, and what we disclose
Compute Terminal is published by Apex Management Int LLC. Apex also provides capital-raising advisory services through a separate practice. Advisory staff have no access to unpublished index data and no role in index methodology, constituent selection or research. Where an advisory client is an index constituent or a subject of our research, we disclose it on the relevant page. Our founder is also a senior executive at one of the leading global AI infrastructure companies, and co-founder of an investment manager regulated by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

When a client of the capital-raising practice is an index constituent or a subject of our research:
- Disclose the relationship on the constituent's page and related research within five business days of signing.
- The founder recuses himself from discretionary index decisions on that company; the committee decides and minutes the recusal.
- No methodology or discretionary constituent changes affecting that company during the mandate, except under pre-published rules.
- No company-specific research on the client during the mandate or for 30 days after, beyond factual index data.
- A dated conflicts register, summarised in public minutes.
- No trading in constituents by the founder or by the investment manager the founder co-founded within two business days of a rebalancing announcement; holdings in constituents are disclosed.
4. Methodology and corrections
How every published figure is built is on the methodology page; every correction, with its date and reason, is on the corrections log. The full rules for holdings, mandates and timing are in the conflicts and disclosure policy.
